🔥 When Life Feels Like Scorched Earth
Recently, I came across a short video in which someone used the phrase "scorched earth." It made me stop and reflect.
In many ways, I have been there.
Life has taken me through hardships, broken relationships, barriers, misunderstandings, and seasons of deep disappointment. As a Deaf person, I have also experienced the challenges that can arise when communication breaks down and people fail to understand one another.
There have been moments when it would have been easy to walk away from everything, cut ties completely, and let pain have the final word.
But life has taught me something important: not every scar needs to become a battlefield.
Through Robb Paddy Journey, I choose to share reflections rather than every detail of my story. Some experiences are meant to remain private, while others can become lessons that encourage and strengthen people along their own journeys.
My story is not about dwelling on the past. It is about continuing to move forward with faith, humility, gratitude, and purpose.
We all carry wounds that others cannot see. Yet we also carry hope. Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is keep walking, keep learning, and keep extending grace to others and to ourselves.
The earth may be scorched, but new life can still grow.
And perhaps that is one of life's greatest lessons: even after the fire, hope remains.
